 owned for its Sapphires\, Party Sapphire’s and Topaz’s. \n\nThere is a
  Public Fossicking area where no license is required but if wishing to fos
 sick outside this area you will need to go to the MRT site and buy a licen
 se.\n\nhttps://www.mrt.tas.gov.au/home\n\nYou will need a set of gem sieve
 s and a long handle shovel.  You will need to walk in the river so footwea
 r that you can safely walk on rocks…\n\n\nCamping both nights at the Fro
 me Road camping spot\,  50m on right after the bridge crossing.  Bush camp
 ing at its finest so come prepared. Limited phone service..The track to ca
 mp is suited to camper trailers\, small caravans but the area can get busy
  so negotiating to your spot might be a tight squeeze.\n\nBeing a long wee
 kend if anyone wants to take a break from gemming and wants to go 4wding\,
  the start of Emu Road Track is just up the road..Recovery gear should be 
 carried and the 4wd to have Front and Rear recovery points.\n\nNo dogs.  P
 arents will need to keep an eye on their children for obvious reasons\, wo
 rking in a river..BYO food and drinks.  Bag or two of firewood if wanting 
 a camp fire.
