DESCRIPTION:Rattler Hill is a peak in Tas and has an elevation of 822m.  Th
 e track up to the Trig point has ruts and can have mud holes.   Where the 
 ruts are you can take a alternative track around them. \nOnce on the top i
 f a nice day the views are pretty impressive.\n\nOnce finished at the Trig
  Point we will make our way back down and take on the Star of Piece Track\
 ,  where mud\, water can be encountered.  \n\nWe will also be fortunate to
  have Rod as a guild.  This gentleman knows the area like the back of his 
 hand.  It’s one of his favourite places to go and explore. \n\nCamping f
 rom Friday at either the Weldbourgh Pub Camp Grounds or if busy we can hea
 d to large grass area off Emu Road Track.\n\nMust have the following:\nRec
 overy Gear\nShovel\nCompressor\nFRONT Recovery Points and REAR Recovery Hi
 tch.\nIf you don’t have any recovery gear please make contact with your 
 Trip Leader Shelly.\n\nBYO Food \nDogs allowed but must be on a lead 24/7 
 and kept under control at all times as not everyone likes dogs.
